In cooperation with Merantix Labs we created an interactive series of events so that we can bring AI in all stages of the value chain to life.
Because there’s a simple fact: Using AI applications can generate impactful added value for the whole company.
The central question is: How?
Answers to that questions are provided by Nicole Büttner-Thiel (CEO and co-founder Merantix Labs) und Charlotte von Dryander (Project Manager Merantix Labs). Throughout four lectures, the two experts talk about the potentials of AI in combination with Smart Production, Smart Logistics, Smart Sales and Smart CRM – each with its own use case and specific advice on what to do. In our series of articles, we’ll write about the different use cases so that you can see that advantges of AI on the value chain.
Charlotte von Dryander presents:
AI Use Case in Smart Sales – Customer Behavior Analysis
Problem: Customers are the most important souce of information for companies. Unsatisfied customers can harm a project through negative reviews and a bad reputation. Customer feedback should therefore always play a central role when planning a venture. Unfortunately, product or service reviews are often being left in an unstructured format, e.g., in an online forum which makes an automated evaluation difficult. Manual evaluations are time-consuming and can’t serve as a permanent solution in a digitized world.
AI solution: AI algorithms can analyze human language, texts and their mood and classify accordingly. This is called “natural language processing” (NLP). Unstructured customer reviews can be automatedly analyzed by using this technology. Text content as well as text mood can be registered with high precision and be observed so that negative reviews trigger appropriate countermeasures in companies.
Results: The systematic analysis of customer satisfaction offers the opportunity to steer a company’s product and service development in the right direction by using data. Automated monitoring of customer satisfaction (e.g. reviews on the internet) lead to immediate reactions. This results in cost and speed advantages for companies who bet on NLP technologies.
