You have an innovative business idea and you want to get started as a startup founder in Northrine-Westfalia? The state’s Ministry for Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy can support you financially in your venture. We from the Founders Foundations act as a contact and issuing agency for the grant in the region of Ostwestfalen-Lippe.
Apply for the grant and receive a bonus of 1.000 EUR per month over a period of up to twelve months. Thanks to this funding, you can fully focus on elaborating upon your innovative concepts.

PREREQUISITES FOR FUNDING
The Gründerstipendium.NRW supports individual founders or teams of up to three persons. All persons must have completed their 18th year of birth and have their principal place of residence in Northrhine-Westfalia. As an additional prerequisite, the teams must either plan to become self-employed with their business within the next 12 months, or have started a company in the 12 months before.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Create a strong and meaningful concept paper.
Every quarter, you get the chance to present your business idea in front of our jury members.
If you receive a recommendation from the jury, you can make your grant application using the form on the official website.
If your application is accepted the funding period begins.
